Mr. Sonel Y. Shropshire, J.D.

For decades, Mr. Sonel Y. Shropshire has been one of the most recognizable people in higher education. Shropshire received his Juris Doctor from the University  of Florida College of Law in 1997 and embarked on a 12-year career as an administrator for four law schools.

Shropshire served as Assistant Dean of Law Admissions for UCLA School of Law, Loyola Law School (CA), Texas Wesleyan University School of Law and Stetson University Law School. He has been affiliated with a number of professional organizations, including the White House HBCU Initiative, American Bar Association Presidential Task Force, National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals (NAGAP), Law School Admissions Council (LSAC), American Association of Community Colleges, Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and the California  Science Center Governor's Advisory Board.
